Modern Art Oxford

In 2008 Outset collaborated with Modern Art Oxford to launch the Outset Associates programme. The initiative brings vital additional funds to the gallery to directly support their exhibition programme. Outset’s involvement with Modern Art Oxford allows Associates to receive all the benefits of patronage plus invitations to Outset events including private tours of London exhibitions, collectors’ evenings, artist studio visits and the opportunity to engage with the international art community.

In 2008 the Outset Associates supported the eponymous work from the exhibition The House of Books Has No Windows by Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller. This work has subsequently been gifted to the Israel Museum in Jerusalem as a joint gift of Outset and The American Friends of the Israel Museum.
