Projects

All funds raised from Outset activities are directed towards projects that further the foundation’s mission of supporting new art. This aim is wider than realising institutional acquisitions and, since the fund's inception, Outset has facilitated projects that range from large-scale building projects at public galleries to art-related education programmes in deprived areas.

Maintaining an active involvement with interdisciplinary trends in the contemporary arts, Outset has enabled such diverse projects as short films, a series of conferences for critical debate, and pieces by a modern dance company.

Projects are selected by Outset directors and their advisors and are funded through the donations of patrons, advisory partners and sponsors.
