Curators’ Research Trip
In November 2010 Outset Israel began a new initiative of bringing leading international curators, critics and museum directors to Israel in collaboration with Outset UK and Outset Germany. During the trip the professionals were introduced to artists, museums, project spaces and art professionals in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The purpose of the trip was to forge strong working relationships with Israeli artists and institutions. The group included Jessica Morgan, the Daskalopoulos Curator of International Art,

As part of the visit Outset hosted a lecture in Tel Aviv given by Hans Ulrich Obrist, ‘Curating in the 21st Century’. Lecture is available for viewing on Vimeo.
After a 3 day visit to Israel the group travelled to Ramallah and was hosted by Khaled Hourani, Director of International Academy of Art, Ramallah.
