THE OUTSET ART ROOM

The Art Room is a pioneering charity based at Oxford School aimed at 5 – 16 year olds who are experiencing difficulties at school. The Art Room works with the children to increase their self-esteem, self-confidence and independence through art. The support of Outset Family enabled Art Room to set up a new classroom at the Robert Blair Primary School in Islington.
The new art Room disadvantaged children Offers respite from the children’s pressured lives, supports children in developing positive relationships, enables children to express themselves by engaging in different forms of creative artwork and provides an opportunity to engage with mainstream education.
